Evaluación de la calidad en el sistema educativo chileno nudos críticos que emanan del aseguramiento de la calidad en el sistema educativo actual

Abstract

This article refers to how educational policies in Chile have sought to establish quality in education, responding to economic interests, rather than to the integral development of students, therefore, it is proposed to analyze the implications of the restrictive, undemocratic and representative vision of the concept of quality that they have coined in recent times. After a literature review, the historical-political context in which the concept of quality is configured is presented. In addition, to analyze key concepts such as: Education as a right, role of the State in education, quality of education and the SAC law. Finally, it is concluded that there is no consensus between what the neoliberal system and educational reality propose as Quality in Education, this being still a pending issue.
