Abstract

The present paper examines the contemporary French philosopher René Schérer, who poses a liberation or emancipation of the child and/or teenager in present day through education. All the analysis carried out by Schérer begins with a strong critique of one of the manuals and educational canons for the pedagogue and in pedagogy: Emilio or of education by Jean-Jacques Rousseau. René Schérer confirms the Rousseaunian offer of a French Socialist of the 18th century: Charles Fourier; since the two propose a liberation of the child, Rousseau through the rationale or modern European illustration (called by Schérer: " a liberation after masks ") and Fourier though an aesthetics of the passions. From the above mentioned, a proposal of an aesthetic - passional education is made.
