Abstract

This paper presents a series of astronomical observation activities within the framework of the theoretical-practical subject Telescopes and Instrumental Astronomy, belonging to the mention Education in Astronomy, dictated by the Department of Physics of the Faculty of Basic Sciences of the Metropolitan University of Education Sciences.
The activities are developed on the basis of the teaching-learning model as research and cover a large part of the astronomical phenomena with possibilities of being applied at the school level. Some examples of the observation and registration activities developed by the students in the subject are presented.
