Abstract
El incendio intencional de la Legación alemana en Santiago, para ocultar un robo,
produjo una situación especialmente delicada para Chile. El análisis de los textos Beckert o el crimen de la Legación Alemana de Vicente Donoso Raventos y Fuego y tinieblas: o el drama de la Legación Alemana de Claudio de Alas, permite comprender el imaginario de “defensa de lo chileno contra una agresión internacional”.
