Abstract
El objetivo de este trabajo es determinar si las competencias desarrolladas en la formación inicial docente de nuestra Carrera, Licenciatura en Educación y Pedagogía en Educación Diferencial, permiten el desempeño de una práctica pedagógica acorde a los requerimientos profesionales derivados del Decreto N° 291, el que reglamenta el funcionamiento de los grupos diferenciales al interior de los establecimientos educacionales del país. Se contrasta la calidad de la formación impartida a los/as estudiantes con las distintas exigencias que el sistema educativo demanda. Los resultados obtenidos permitirán reorientar la formulación y desarrollo de las competencias que encausen una práctica pedagógica acorde a los principios y fundamentos de la actual Reforma Educativa.
