Abstract
Dentro de la temática mistraliana, uno de los
aspectos más interesantes es el de la mujer
fuerte, de inspiración bíblica. Sobre esta base,
analizaremos el poema “La mujer fuerte ” y la
trilogía de sonetos “Ruth ”,
Esa mujer fuerte de la que habla la Biblia
como el fundamento del hogar, Mistral la
encarna en la nortina aguerrida, muchas
veces madre soltera y abandonada, pero cuya
efigie asombra a la niña que la contempla.
Ruth, la moabita, fiel a su marido muerto y a
su suegra, a quien acompaña de regreso al que
fuera el hogar paterno de su esposo, al des
posar a Boaz será fundamental antepasado del
nazareno Jesús, el Cristo. Esto es, así, testi
monio de una búsqueda de unidad religiosa.
