Abstract
Mi estudio es una versión actualizada y abreviada del ensayo “Avantgarde in Hispano- amerika”, publicado en alemán como introducción a las letras del Congreso que organicé en Berlín, pocos meses antes de la caída del Muro'. Se divide en tres partes: Primero: ¿Qué se entiende por “vanguardia europea”? Segundo: ¿Bajo qué condiciones tuvo lugar su transmisión hacia Latinoamérica? Tercero: ¿Qué grado de propagación y qué desarrollo histórico tuvo la vanguardia en Hispanoamérica?
