Abstract

The forums are an educational resource that seeks to promote collaborative learning. This article focuses on the analysis of the results obtained in the evaluation of the competences acquired in a forum in a virtual environment of the Master's Degree in Teacher Training of Secondary Education in the field of Geography and History. To analyse the acquisition of these competences, a rubric with five evaluation criteria and four learning indicators was created, with which 45 students were evaluated. Although the results show that the selection of competences were consistent with the purpose of the activity, an analysis of these reflects the need to rethink the forum since the development of basic skills was not as expected. However, it emphasizes that the specific competences were reinforced.
