Abstract

The educational environment has been transformed as a consequence of IT integration. In this sense, online education continues to evolve and its success has become a challenge. Therefore, the objective of this work is to identify the key success factors of e-learning programs, considering the student, teacher, institution and experts point of view. A review of the scientific literature that has analyzed the success factors of the e-learning system was carried out, taking into account the vision of one or several of the involved agents mentioned. Finally, 49 papers were selected and analyzed. The results set out in detail the key success factors for each agent. This work contributes to the academic literature by concentrating on an article the knowledge developed on the success factors of the online teaching system.
