Abstract

The present investigation seeks to present the life of two princes of the family of the emperor Constantine I: Dalmatius and Hannibalianus, taking as a base the historiographical sources that have arrived until our days, as well as the reflections of modern historians to understand, with greater clarity, who they were and what their importance was, to the point of being included in the emperor’s succession plans, mentioning the circumstances that led them to occupy such a position, beyond what historiography transmits to us.
