Abstract
This paper presents a classroom experience developed in an interdisciplinary manner between the subjects of Physics and Technology, at the first-year secondary level, aimed at strengthening the learning of astronomical concepts through the design and creation of a scientific magazine featuring augmented reality (AR). The proposal is framed within the approach of innovative didactic strategies, incorporating principles of project-based learning (PBL) and the STEAM methodology. Students, organized in groups, researched various astronomy topics (the Earth–Moon and Earth–Sun systems, the Solar System, climate and the advantages offered by Chile’s geography, technology used in astronomy, and the contributions of Chilean astronomers) producing written and visual materials that were integrated using the Arloopa application to generate AR experiences. The final product was a collective magazine, with each group contributing a section. The results show high student motivation, strengthened scientific communication, and the development of digital and collaborative skills. It is concluded that the integration of AR and the interdisciplinarity between Physics and Technology constitute an effective strategy to promote meaningful learning and positive attitudes toward science.
