Abstract

This research aimed to understand the conditions that affect the integration of Technologies to Support Curriculum Management (TAGC by its Spanish acronym) in educational establishment. Data collection and analysis techniques, typical of the qualitative research, were used, such as in-depth interviews and a focus group of seven teachers, who were users of a management platform. Results indicated that there are first-order conditions related to the school and second-order conditions associated to personal aspects that influence the integration and adoption of the TAGC in teachers and school principals. The conclusion makes it possible to establish that, prior to the adoption of TAGC in teachers and directors-teachers, it is necessary to address the different conditions that interfere in this process, otherwise, educational technologies will continue to coexist with teaching practices, without reaching their potential contribution. This study contributes to the understanding of the integration of digital technologies in processes of school administration.
