Abstract

In this work the curves of solubility of different inorganic salts are used, to sepárate and to purify one of them. In this case was proceeded initially to purify the sulfate of ammonium of technical quality to use later, the same procedure in a mixture that contained (NH4)2 S 0 4, KNOy FeS04x7H20 y N a f r 20 7x 2H20. The yields can improve when repeating the recovery
cycle, however the purity of the salt that it is extracted it diminishes in each extraction from the mother solution. The same technique was used to purify a real sample of raw nickel sulfate coming from a copper refinery, the purify nickel sulfate was employed to prepare plating nickel bath.
