Abstract

The education quality in Chile has taken relevance owing to the education reform that the authorities in the
country have proposed. Currently, the system of quality assurance in education has been object of countless
of proposals and reforms that would improve the accreditation process through a new way that achieve the
standards that warrants an education with high levels of quality. It is also understood that the higher education must cultivate and foster the culture as contribution of formative and material development of the country.
The following article give to know the main reflections about the context of the political reform is being proposed in relation to the System of Quality Assurance; doing an approach with current problems and future challenges.
