Abstract
The following article ineludes a work experience after using the mixed mode of the virtual platform tool with students of an initial teacher training programme for primary school at Arturo Prat University in Iquique, Chile. This proeess ineluded the edueational eounseling from the same higher education institution in the Region of Tarapaca and technical support from a specialist from Universidad de Chile, from the planning stage, whieh allowed us to launeh the planned activities and trigger the analysis of a satisfaction survey applied to students of the programme, who argued that the use of virtual platform not only allowed them to feel more motivated, be- cause organized their time better and got immediate results when processing and dispensing learning eontents. They also eoneluded that the ineorporation of ICT generates an instanee of eollaborative learning that had a positive impaet on aeademie performance.
