Abstract
Abstract
This article describes and interprets the perceptions of teachers from the La Serena –Coquimbo conurbation about the curricular change of philosophy. Considering a qualitative method, with a content analysis and data processing with the use of grounded theory. The sample was made up of four teachers to whom a semi-structured interview was applied, obtaining as a result three central categories: Teacher perceptions around the elimination of philosophy, teacher perceptions on psychology in the old curriculum and teacher perceptions on the new curricular change. Finally, from an explanatory scheme, the interpretations of the three previous categories are integrated.
