Abstract
Este estudio trata de la función didáctica de la canción en el trabajo diario de acompañar a los más pequeños en el aprendizaje de la lectura y escritura de la lengua materna. El aprendiz de lector, junto con aprender a mirar con atención, debe aprender a escuchar con atención, de ahí la importancia del aporte
de la música, más específicamente, de la educación musical a nivel escolar, y concretamente, de la canción y juegos rítmicos melódicos.
