Abstract
Los resultados de la acreditación efectuada en el Departamento de Inglés de la UMCE durante los años 2003-2004, detectaron una deficiencia significativa en el seguimiento y contacto con nuestros ex alumnos, ya que no existe un sistema que permita evaluar la real adquisición de competencias específicas y pedagógicas de los egresados y, por lo tanto, se carece de un conocimiento de la formación inicial de profesores de lengua inglesa del Departamento de Inglés de esta institución.
