Abstract
En este intento de interpretación del texto "Los arrieros ” de César Vallejo, una primera propuesta consiste en asociar el plano concreto de la explicación puntual, al plano más general de su temática poética. Esto nos introduce en el pensamiento del autor, siguiendo la trayectoria de su mirada “reflexiva”, que se dirige hacia un sujeto (tú, arriero), lo transforma en objeto de reflexión, y vuelve a sí, cargado de nuevos significados. Se entrecruzan entonces ciertas referencias espacio-temporales, socioculturales, éticas y aun religiosas, mediante las cuales descubrimos, con el poeta, como las imágenes iniciales de la vida cotidiana, se van transfigurando en una visión trascendental de la existencia humana.
