Abstract
Existen ciertas situaciones-objeto ^ en el ámbito de nuestra realidad social y cultural que nos impulsan a poner en ellas nuestra atención, debido a que esas mismas situaciones, por una parte, parecen presentar ciertas insuficiencias cuando son consideradas desde una perspectiva más amplia, y por otra, parecen ofrecer alternativas de superación de esas mismas deficiencias. Una mera identificación de las principales situaciones-objeto, a las que hace alusión el llamado de este Congreso, será ofrecida a continuación con el propósito de definir los temas primeros de conflicto:
1. - La integración del conocimiento en general y en particular.
2. - Las humanidades.
3. - La educación chilena actual
