Abstract
Si bien Chile está situado en el llamado "confín del mundo" según el decir de algunos, no es menos cierto que hoy esta antigua noción ha perdido toda su vigencia.
Tal es así como, actualmente, nuestro país está asociado o relacionado, inevitablemente, con todo el mundo. Mencionemos, a modo de ejemplo:
-Mercosur
-La Unión Europea -A.P.E.C.
-Tratados de Libre Comercio bi-laterales (Chile-Canadá)
-Convenios Científicos
-Asociaciones Universitarias
