In the professional training of Kinesiology students, it is necessary to incorporate teaching strategies that favor the acquisition of communication skills linked to the initial clinical interview with a patient, in order to make professional decisions appropriate to the individual reality.
The fundamental purpose of this innovation experience is to strengthen the communicational skills of Kinesiology students by conducting

interviews with simulated patients, generating a scenario as close as possible to reality.
To evaluate the outcome of the process, a focus group was developed, which showed the facilitating aspects of the learning process. This allows to conclude that the simulation activities are a significant learning experience for teachers, students and those who did simulated patients. Therefore, it was demonstrated its usefulness for the development of communication skills of Kinesiology students.
