Abstract

The objective of the present study was to evaluate the perception of children and adolescents regarding their quality of life and general well-being. The research was conducted in a Private School in the Metropolitan Region, where students were assessed using the KIDSCREEN-27 questionnaire to determine their Quality of Life. The study was carried out under a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional design, collecting data at a specific moment. The sample consisted of 200 regular students from 7th to 12th grade. The results indicate a good quality of life and general well-being, with differences observed when considering gender differentiation, showing more favorable values for males compared to females, especially in the dimensions of physical and psychological well-being.
