Abstract
This article presents the results obtained in various experiences carried out as part of the PIMCD Nº 61/ 2022 awarded by the UCM entitled "Landscape painting as a tool for knowledge in the face of climate change". Three gardens located in the Community of Madrid have been selected as a working space for obtaining results derived from artistic creation and for acquiring skills in ecological and environmental education.
We believe that this ecological and environmental awareness can be approached from different points of view and approaches, thus better penetrating the different social strata, in order to generate a solid training and awareness with roots and not a recipe book about the benefits that nature brings us and consequently to understand that the enjoyment of nature is not eternal and we must generate in us the awareness of reaching the maximum possible sustainability on our planet.
