Abstract
El presente trabajo refiere la investigación realizada para evaluar los impactos en
la población de los procesos de transformación que han acaecido en los últimos años en las localidades rurales de Chile. Se determinan los contenidos que en el plano de la Identidad y de la Ciudadanía constituyen la realidad de lo que se ha llamado la Nueva Ruralidad, noción que expresa esta nueva fenomenología. A través de un diseño metodológico mixto se obtiene una caracterización del cambio cultural que ha impactado los estilos y condiciones de vida del paisaje y el medio rural.
