Abstract
El estudio intenta introducir a los lectores, en los problemas que enfrenta la educación escolar en el contexto espacio-temporal al que pertenecen, en el que confluyen decisiones y factores políticos, sociales y económicos externos a la escuela con asuntos propiamente escolares. En esta multidimensionalidad, encuentran explicación la crisis y los desafíos que afectan a la educación formal en el momento presente y los procesos de la Reforma Educacional en marcha. La problemática educacional es una cuestión de orden curricular y diseño técnico que atañe a los profesores en ejercicio; y es, también una cuestión social y política que requiere participación de toda la comunidad nacional.
