Abstract
En este trabajo se aborda la poesía del laureado poeta chileno1 2 Nicanor Parra, 1914, desde la perspectiva de la ecocrítica, la cual se define como “el estudio de las relaciones entre la literatura y el medio ambiente” (Glotfelty, xiii). Se explora, por ello, la obra poética parriana que expresa una preocupación por la problemática relación del hombre con la naturaleza. Roberto Forns-Broggi (1998) sostiene que: “antes que los ecologistas del primer mundo anunciaran la urgencia de una nueva visión de las culturas y de la naturaleza para recuperar armonías y superar la relación de dominación, los poetas latinoamericanos ya hacían de la relación entre cultura y naturaleza la piedra de toque de la visión de la realidad y sus consiguientes consideraciones éticas”.
