Abstract

The companies dedicated to the production of cement are part of the identity of Olavarría city. From 1940 to 1970, the cement companies were designed by a business model, with its own characteristics and features, known as/called paternalistic.
The presence of women in this context raises several questions since they did not participate directly in the productive process. Even though only men were allowed to work in a factory, women play a particular role.
The objective of the following article, resuming a previous investigation, will be to address the importance of the role played by women inside of a specific business model, as part of labor and social relations built in a cement company in Argentina.
