Abstract
El reconocimiento de Prado como novelista
radica en Alsino, una obra poética y extraña
que combina elementos fantásticos con los
realistas, los costumbristas y hasta los naturalistas.
El
protagonista,
un adolescente
cuyos
deseos
de volar
se concretan,
encarna un
símbolo:
el
ansia
de elevación
y absoluto
que
existe
en el
alma
de todo
hombre.
Su
muerte,
la
disolución en el universo, parece expresar
ese
anhelo
de unión
con el
Todo.
