Abstract
En esta comunicación discutimos los dos mandatos de Fernando Henrique Cardoso y su continuación con Luís Inácio Lula da Silva, en este momento en la mitad de su cuarto mandato. Durante los dos gobiernos de Cardoso, la clase trabajadora tenía sus portavoces y sus partidos políticos que iban en contra de las propuestas emanadas del poder establecido, en contraposición con la realidad actual en que la posición parece no existir.
