Abstract
Se describen y analizan algunos de los vínculos histórico-culturales que hicieron
posiblela concreción del proceso de independencia nacional en América Latina. Se destacan los nombres y acciones de los venezolanos Miranda y Bolívar, y la conexión e influencia que ellos tuvieron sobre la conducta revolucionaria de Bernardo O’Higgins en Chile.
