Abstract
Si comenzáramos preguntándonos ¿qué es Geografía?, llegaríamos al convencimiento de que la geografía es la ciencia de los ¿dónde? En esto coincidimos con el concepto kantiano sobre la importancia de la historia y de la geografía, ya que ningún fenómeno natural o social escapa a las dimensiones de tiempo y espacio. De aquí que la pregunta obligada de la historia frente a cualquier hito en el devenir de la acción humana sea: ¿cuándo ocurrió?, en tanto que la cuestión para la Geografía es ¿dónde ocurrió?.
