Abstract

The genus To^a is registered for first time in Chile, represented for the species To^a argentinensis
(Muir, 1929), widely spread in northern y central agricultural areas of Argentina. It was detected from
prospections carry out on the Azapa valley, Región of Arica y Parinacota, Chile. In this contribuí ion
some notes and illustrations about the most relevant specific morphological characteristics are given as
well as geographical distribution, natural enemies and host plant.
