Abstract
Desde el año 1998, un equipo de investigación interdepartamental e interfacultades de
la Universidad Metropolitana de Ciencias de la Educación (UMCE)4 formado por las
profesoras Nolfa Ibáñez, Florencia Barrientos, Teresa Delgado y Gladys Geisse,
viene desarrollando una línea de investigación focalizada en la concepción de las emociones
desde la perspectiva teórica de la Biología del Conocimiento que sustenta Humberto
Maturana. En el contexto señalado, se han desarrollado, en concreto, dos investigaciones.
