Abstract

Recently (2011) a Latin humanistic comedy: “Laphra”, by the Italian humanist Giovanni Mario Filelfo (1426-1480), was discovered in a manuscript of the British Library in London. Our purpose is to summarily comment on this piece and to introduce some relevant passages of this text that had remained unknown until today.
