As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS
Authors can submit articles throughout the year. Authors must be registered on the Magazine's website. There, authors will receive their username and password. This action is done by entering the following link: http://revistas.umce.cl/index.php/perspectivas/index
This Magazine does not receive articles through any other means.
The author must upload the following documents to the Journal page:
- Manuscript file in Word format, wholly anonymized. Without the name of the author, nor data on the institution where he or she works, without any reference to personal identification data of the authors, including the properties of the word file.
- Originality declaration file. The document must state that the work has not been sent for evaluation nor published in another medium. Manuscript format
It must contain the title, summary, and keywords in Spanish and English.
Font: Arial; size: 12; line spacing: 1.5; right and left margins: 2.0 cm.
Titles and subtitles (1st, 2nd, and 3rd level) must be consistent with the current APA style guidelines (use of uppercase, lowercase, bold, and placement).
The text should be justified.
Use italics only for words from another language.
The pages must be numbered.
If the text contains tables and images, these must be inserted and numbered in the text.
The citation and bibliographic referencing format must follow the current APA Standard.
Footnotes should be numbered and used exclusively to supplement or amplify substantial information in the text. They should be simple and brief. They should not be used for bibliographic references.
