Abstract
En mi calidad de Decana de la Facultad de Historia, Geografía y Letras, me ha correspondido inaugurar el Quinto Congreso de Humanidades: "Evaluar las humanidades, humanizar la evaluación ”.
Detengámonos brevemente en el título:
Evaluar. ¿Qué es evaluación? Los enfoques más actuales consideran la evaluación como un proceso de comunicación que facilita la construcción de conocimientos (Dolores Quinquer, 2000, p. 13). Si la persona es capaz de construir conocimientos, significa que aprende a usar la información para formular juicios que utilizará, a su vez, para tomar sus decisiones.
