Abstract
En los múltiples cambios producidos en la sociedad contemporánea tiene gran incidencia la cultura televisiva, pues con su capacidad ilimitada de poder comunicativo modifica la vida de las personas.
El poder de comunicación de la pantalla televisiva puede ser una ventaja o convertirse en una amenaza, considerando que la tecnología se adelanta a los cambios sociales y su desarrollo queda en manos del poder económico, social o político. De ahí que sea muy importante que el sistema educativo se ocupe de estudiar sus posibilidades y limitaciones, los riesgos y oportunidades que ofrece.
