Résumé

Este estudio se centró en la exploración de los códigos de procesamiento de la información lingüística de estudiantes sordos que usan Lenguaje de Signos Chileno desde temprana edad. La muestra la conformaron treinta estudiantes de 7 a 17 años. Los resultados de la investigación indican correlaciones significativa entre el nivel de dominio en lenguaje de signos, la habilidad en dactilología y lectura. Las conclusiones del estudio señalan la necesidad de vincular los códigos visuales en el establecimiento de una estrategia de lectura alfabética.
