Abstract
In 2006, at the General Chemistry subject, the conceptual, procedimental and attitudinal contents were tested in 82 students of de Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering carrers at the Faculty o f Santa Fe from the UTN. The practical work investigated has been “Separation of phases”.The attitudes were classified through questions from the instrument (survey) in living, anxiety,
motivation and trust. The procedimental and conceptual contents were evaluated through a questionnaire at the end of the lab task, together with the mentioned survey. The results obtained have been satisfactory because in the attitudinal phase the positive valúes have overeóme largely the negative ones. The procedimental contents threw an average valué of correct answers of 71,19% and the conceptual ones of 61,96%. As a conclusión from the subject will be intented to look for more connection of the Basic practical Works, with the careers coursed by the students, so that they could apréciate the usefulness of them. They are considered acceptable the procedimental contents leamt in this type of practical activities. Considering the conceptual contents, the work will be done from the subject, to encourage the systemic and gradual study of the subject,
taking in it part the students coursing the subject.
