Interventions in physical education and hearing impairment
An exploratory systematic review

The present study had as main objective to analyze the academic production facing interventions in physical education and hearing impairment between the years 2012-2022, where the qualitative approach and exploratory systematic review based on the PRISMA statement (2020) and the eligibility criteria of the PICOS. The main results showed deficiencies in perceptual-motor development (53.8%), physical condition (23.1%), motor skills (15.4%) and self-esteem (7.7%), which is why physical education class must become an indispensable space for this population. In conclusión, a comprehensive approach that includes specific exercise programs focused on balance, coordination and the promotion of self-esteem is recommended, as these can help to improve the physical health and general well-being of students with hearing impairment in the school context.
