Abstract

Objective: Determine the prevalence of eating disorders in students of Pedagogy in Physical Education, Sports and Recreation of the Universidad Metropolitana de Ciencias de la Educación. Methods: It was developed under an experimental, descriptive and transversal temporality research design, with a sample of 58 students (23 men and 35 women) of different levels of the career. Results: We highlight the fact that this disease exists in a considerable percentage of students: approximately 30%. Conclusion: It is suggested address the problem of eating disorders in students of the career of Pedagogy in Physical Education, Sports and Recreation, at the institutional level.
