Motor skills are fundamental in human development, making them essential for performing certain tasks throughout life, ranging from the simplest to the most complex, enabling individuals to navigate various contexts. The objective of this research is to analyze the results of the application of the MOBAK 1-2 test in a school in Santiago, Chile. The methodology of this study corresponds to a positivist paradigm with a quantitative approach, employing a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 62 students (26 girls, 36 boys) aged 6 to 7 years. Through the analysis of the collected data, it is evident that in throwing and kicking tests of the object control dimension, males exhibit greater mastery than females. However, in rolling and jumping tests of the body control dimension, females outperform males. It is concluded that, overall, motor competence results are low, and the identified differences need to be addressed in physical education classes.
